Default Can a PC Emulate a Wii and Play Wii Games ???

Well I've seen so many emulators online in the past and they've all been pretty cool...

What an Emulator does is it "emulates" or mimics the original gaming machine using the power of a PC computer and its powerful graphics capability.

You can pretty much download any emulation software to run on a PC and you can use your PC to emulate almost any kind of gaming machine or even a different kind of computer.

Examples are that you can find Atari2600, Commodore 64, TRS80, even MAC emulation software.

For gamers you can download SEGA, XBOX, PLAYSTATION, and yes even Wii...

And that's what I'd like to experiment with as I think that is the coolest machine around...

But can a PC emulate it...

That is the question...

Now to emulate a Wii on a PC you will have to get some hardware and download some software.

The best software for Wii emulation is Dolphin.

I'm new to this but I can see already that this is the best software.

For hardware you'll need a very fast PC, like 2 or more GigaHertz and a very powerful Video Card.

You will also need a Wii wireless controller, a USB dongle, and a IR motion bar to put on top of your monitor.

If you already have a Wii then all you will need is a USB dongle device.

And better yet, if you have a laptop you might not even need a USB dongle as some Laptops have them built right in
